Job Opening: Customer Care Specialist, Bilingual

Position Overview:
This role involves providing excellent customer service, responding to inquiries, offering coverage options, processing orders, managing shipping status, and addressing warranty and general concerns. Strong communication skills in both English and Spanish are crucial for effective interaction with customers, physicians, healthcare, and insurance providers.
Responsibilities:
- Process orders by verifying insurance benefits/coverage, determining eligibility, and calculating cost share amounts.
- Collect updated documentation, prior authorizations, and coordinate product shipments.
- Maintain understanding of Insulet products, explain basic operation to customers, and ensure correct documentation for revenue collection.
- Answer phone inquiries, resolve customer service issues, and collaborate with other departments for proactive customer support.
- Document interactions in the customer database while maintaining compliance with HIPAA and other regulations.
- Provide feedback for continuous process improvement and collaborate with commercial teams.
- Assist customers with OmniPod orders via pharmacy and/or Insulet, including RX verification.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
Associate/Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, with 1-3 years of call center, reimbursement, healthcare-related customer service experience. Bilingual skills (English and Spanish) required.

Physical Requirements:
Requires sitting and standing associated with a normal office environment. Manual dexterity needed for using a calculator and computer keyboard. Lightweight lifting may be required. Reasonable accommodations available for individuals with disabilities.
Additional Information:
This position is eligible for 100% remote working arrangements. The US base salary range is $24.31 – $34.57. Compensation details may vary based on location and factors such as skills, experience, and education. Insulet Corporation is an equal opportunity employer.
