The Practice:
This is a new and all-virtual group practice created to meet the mental health needs of working professionals in New York and New Jersey. We aspire to be the best place to work for therapists in the long run. The practice will treat issues including depression, anxiety, ADHD, executive dysfunction, and relationship/communication issues. Our therapists will be fully supported in their practice with periodic practice meetings, consultation, and will be provided with all the tools needed to succeed: virtual platform, EMR, insurance paneling, marketing, billing, etc. We offer competitive compensation and there is potential to grow into full-time with benefits.
The Role/Responsibilities:
Given the virtual group practice model, you will have the flexibility of working from home and creating your own hours. Therapists are expected to maintain a minimum of 10 client hours per week, with the willingness to have one evening or weekend session. Basic expectations for the therapists are: performing intake assessments, providing individual therapy, as well as some group therapy.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Active NJ LMSW license
- At least one year of clinical experience conducting individual therapy
Preferred:
- Experience with DBT, CBT, Motivational Interviewing
- Experience with the treatment of ADHD and executive dysfunction
- Experience with substance use
