The Origin Program JH Wires Delivery Team
The JH Wires Delivery Team is seeking a Senior Technical Business Analyst to join our journey to the ISO 20022 wires specification for our new banking and credit union solution. The ideal candidate will understand wire transfers and payments based on customer-facing experience in a wire room and be ready to help the technical team members build, deploy, and validate these microservices. This is an Agile environment, and this individual will participate in Agile ceremonies once fully onboarded to the team.

Responsibilities:
- Interacts with customers to gather system requirements.
- Defines the system and functional requirements of the product.
- Serves as a resource and/or participant in business process re-design activities.
- Assists the customer in determining if and how system enhancements may improve process flow and business function.
- May perform application, system, and regression tests.
- Responsible for creating business requirements and system documentation and contributing to end-user and project management documentation.
- Works with quality assurance and programming teams to ensure changes are migrated into production correctly.
- Interacts with technical teams to convey business requirements.
- Works with industry research groups to prepare for product trends.
- May perform other job duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in the financial, fintech, or payments industry.
- Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience with domestic wires and the Federal Reserve Wire Network (FedWire).
- Experience with electronic funds transfers.
- Must be able to travel up to 10% for team meetings and conferences.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience as a business analyst, project coordinator, or implementing financial technology products.
- General understanding of International Standard 20022 (ISO 20022).
- Solid understanding of core banking or credit union software product features and behaviors.
- Experience with Agile framework.
- Experience expressing software behavior in Gherkin or a Gherkin-like syntax.
- Experience with requirements in a cloud-first/microservice environment.
- Experience with feature flags to manage deployment vs. release.
- Experience presenting information to customers and executives.
