We are Hiring: Compassionate Therapist
We are seeking a dedicated therapist to work with patients, specializing in identifying health issues related to drug and alcohol abuse. The ideal candidate will also engage with patients’ families when necessary.
Requirements:
- Education: Master’s Degree
- Enforcement: Must be able to enforce program rules and demand accountability.
- Observation: Interacts routinely with clients, observes behaviors, and communicates significant observations to the supervisor. Promotes interest in recreational activities.
- Engagement: Engages with clients in activities and interactions designed to encourage the achievement of treatment goals.
- Documentation: Documents in client records timely, accurately, and appropriately.
- De-escalation: Applies de-escalation techniques to help manage clients’ emotions, behavior, and participation in treatment.
- Assistance: Assists with unit cleaning, organization of new admits charts, discharge process, filing, etc. Initiates client/employee incident reports.
- Diagnosis and Treatment: Diagnose and treat behavioral health of clients dealing with substance abuse.
- Facilitation: Facilitate sessions with individuals, groups, and families.
- Treatment Plan: Create and support a treatment plan based on client needs.
- Progress Monitoring: Monitor client progress during treatment.
- Ecclesiastical Duties: Will be responsible for providing various ecclesiastical duties in support of the company’s and owner’s core beliefs, including but not limited to providing prayer to clients, leading Christian Bible studies/devotionals, and providing practical biblical guidance.
