We currently have an exciting career opportunity for a GovCon Client Accounting Manager to join our team in the Client Accounting Advisory team. This is a virtual position. A virtual position does not require job duties be performed within proximity of a CohnReznick office location. As a virtual employee, you may be required to be present at a CohnReznick office with scheduled notice for client working, team meetings, or training.
YOUR TEAM
The Client Accounting Advisory Team is a rapidly growing division of CohnReznick, where we partner with our clients to perform accounting, advisory, and technology services. Our goal is to leverage the best staff, cutting edge technology, and efficient processes to exceed our clients’ expectations. Our services include maintaining of books and records, financial statement close management reporting, assistance with state and local tax filings, virtual controller/CFO services, as well as accounting technology solution development.

YOUR ROLE
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Provide support, guidance, and review of monthly financial statements for government contractors, and take responsibility for all client communication and deadlines, supervision and training of senior and staff associates
- Analyze technical accounting issues (FARs, GAAP, company policy). Use expert excel and data analytical skills to conduct in-depth analyses to identify, isolate and resolve complex discrepancies, including performing timely ad-hoc analyses, account reconciliations, and variance analyses
YOUR EXPERIENCE
Successful Candidate will have:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA license is a plus
- 8 years experience in an accounting related profession with 3-4 years in government accounting and government managed accounting services
