Buckland is looking for an Air / Ocean Specialist
What you’ll be doing
The Accounting Manager will report to the Vice President Finance and Special Projects and will be responsible for ensuring US Accounting workflow is in line with department expectations and goals.
- Responsible for all Import of Air & Ocean shipments
- Work with forwarders on a daily basis
- Liaise with Freight Department
- Ensure POD is supplied
- Expediting and tracing as required
- Determination of Profit levels and billing
- Assist in development, implementation, and maintenance of department processes
- Develop, implement and maintain department processes
- Ability to travel between Canada and the USA to other offices
What we need from you
Secondary School Diploma required
What skills & experience you’ll bring to us
- Two years (2) of relevant work experience
- Strong Leadership skills
- Strong communication skills
- Organizational and decision-making skills
- Self-Motivated
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Valid Passport and ability and desire to occasionally travel to Canada
