A career in our Customs and Trade Tax practice, within Tax services, will provide you with the opportunity to help our clients meet and manage their tax obligations across unique but ever-changing tax specialties.
You’ll advise clients on their local and overseas tax affairs, while acting as a strategic consultant related to business analysis, managing indirect taxes, dispute resolution, and global enterprise tax solutions.
Our team helps organizations manage indirect tax implications that result in cash flow optimization and risk reduction. You’ll help with structuring business transactions, developing efficient supply chain models, handling customs and indirect tax disputes, and implementing VAT for new-to-market organizations.

Focus on Duty and Trade Strategy
You’ll focus on all aspects of duty and trade strategy regulatory planning, dispute resolution, and trade automation. Our team helps our clients develop insightful customs and trade planning and implementation strategies, targeted to reduce customs and trade liabilities while integrating regulatory compliance processes into business operations.
You’ll focus on helping clients with business transformation that ultimately helps advance their business goals.
Job Requirements and Preferences
Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor Degree
- Minimum Years of Experience: 4 year(s)
- Certification(s) Required: CPA – Admission to the Bar – Enrolled Agent – Professional Certification in Project Management (PMP) – Six Sigma Black Belt/Lean Black Belt/Master Black Belt – UX Certificate – Nielsen Norman Group
- Licensed Customs Broker – MBA – Ph.D. – Economics or Finance
Preferred Qualifications:
- Degree Preferred: Master of Business Administration
- Preferred Fields of Study: Business Administration/Management, Economics, Finance, Supply Chain Management, Data Processing/Analytics/Science
- Additional Educational Preferences: JD Preferred
Preferred Knowledge/Skills
Demonstrates thorough knowledge and understanding of US Customs and Border Protection procedures and regulatory framework, as well as associated documentary requirements.
Extensive knowledge of the analysis of client internal control practices and evaluation of client compliance with import control regulatory requirements.
