Trade Specialist Opportunity

Position Overview
Export Compliance Coordinator (ECC): Assist the Empowered Official in developing, implementing, and managing export/import compliance and controls. Responsibilities include:
- Determine U.S. Government requirements for daily export/import activities.
- Process shipment paperwork using EASE for all exports of hardware.
- Submit initial drafts and final license, agreement, and general correspondence to GTG (Global Trade Group).
- Ensure compliance with approved license applications, agreements, and permits/licenses.
- Notify legal counsel and Segment Trade Director of any identified violations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical assistance for investigations and disclosures of potential violations.
- Conduct export/import and ITAR training consistent with corporate guidance.
- Review export/import activities and initiate actions as needed.
- Coordinate with shipping carriers and brokers for export/import clearances.
- Ensure controlled technical data export approval under U.S. Government laws.
- Review visitor requests and employee foreign travel.
Requirements
- Associates Degree.
- Minimum 6 years of experience with Teamcenter, EASE, and U.S. trade regulations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelors or Masters Degree.
- Ability to learn different product groups and coordinate simultaneous activities.
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
- Adept with computer software applications (Adobe, MS Excel, MS Word).
Additional Information
- Pay: $50.00/hr.
- Hours: 9/80 Hours/week.
- Length: Temporary to Permanent (12 months).
