Duties:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations of clients to determine their mental health needs
- Develop and implement treatment plans based on client needs and goals
- Provide individual, couple, and/or family therapy sessions
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care for clients
- Monitor and evaluate client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation
- Stay current on best practices and research in the field of mental health
Skills:
- Strong research skills to stay informed about the latest developments in the field
- Proficiency in ICD-9 coding for accurate diagnosis and billing purposes
- Experience working with children, adolescents, and/or adults based on your niche in a clinical setting
- Knowledge of case management principles and techniques
- Familiarity with behavioral therapy approaches, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) or dialectical behavior therapy (DBT)
- Ability to administer and interpret psychological assessments
- Competence in data collection and analysis for treatment planning purposes
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals
