Job Opportunity: Digital Marketing Assistant (Local SEO Focus)

We are actively looking for an experienced Digital Marketing Assistant with a primary focus on local SEO to join our team. The ideal candidate should possess at least 3-5 years of proven experience in SEO, demonstrating a track record of enhancing local small business website rankings and traffic.


  • Develop and execute effective local SEO strategies for small business websites.
  • Conduct on-page optimization, technical SEO, keyword research, competitor analysis, and content strategy.
  • Research backlink opportunities, including anchor text, keywords, and pages to link to.
  • Perform regular site audits for posted marketing content by social media influencers.
  • Track and report on key SEO metrics and identify optimization opportunities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including content and website design, to integrate SEO best practices into our social media accounts.
  • Write high-quality, engaging, and optimized content for social media ads and videos using tools such as PageOptimizerPro and AI tools like ChatGPT.


  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in using Google Suite for document management.
  • Excellent proofreading skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of marketing techniques and databases.
  • Ability to multitask and meet strict deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • 3-5 years of SEO experience, with a focus on local small businesses.
  • Experience with website analysis tools (Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMRush).
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript as they relate to SEO best practices.
  • Strong understanding of on-page optimization, technical SEO, keyword research, link building, and content strategy.
  • Experience with WordPress/Elementor.
  • Experience with the Upfluence program is required.
  • Experience with managing and optimizing business listings such as Google Business Profile and Apple Maps Business Connect.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in an agency setting, creating custom SEO reports, and face-to-face client reporting is a plus!
