We’re a marketing software company that serves small business owners, primarily financial advisors, and insurance agents. About 40,000 small businesses use our tools to build websites and send out our content. Generally, these businesses don’t have marketing departments but are growth-minded enough to know they need to market themselves.
We help them do just that. We work together to create beautiful website designs, automated marketing tools, and award-winning educational content for them. The end goal is to help them build better relationships with their clients with less hands-on effort.

About the Role
We are looking for a Data Developer that has extensive experience with multi-tenant SaaS platforms. You will be focused on discovering platform performance issues, developing system integrations, and developing data models to ensure our database environments are running at peak performance. You must have experience training engineering staff members with best practices and performing database code reviews. You must have a proven ability to drive business results with your insights and must be comfortable working with a wide range of stakeholders and cross-functional teams. You must have a passion for discovering solutions hidden in large data sets and working with stakeholders to improve business outcomes. This role offers an exciting opportunity to solve complex data challenges, and contribute to the company’s data-driven decision-making process.
Our primary platform is a Microsoft stack; Windows servers, MSSQL, PowerBI, SSRS and .NET applications running in the AWS Cloud. We have secondary platforms running in unique databases ranging from PostgreSQL, RethinkDB, DynamoDB, and MongoDB.
Compensation
This positions offers $120,000/per year
Primary Responsibilities & Expectations
- Translate business needs to technical specifications
- Ability to develop proper transformations from multiple source systems
- Presenting information through reports, dashboards, and other visualizations
- Collaborate with teams to integrate systems
- Develop and update technical documentation
- Develop custom data models and algorithms to apply to data sets
- Develop processes and tools to monitor and analyze performance and data accuracy
- Work with engineering teams to drive peak performance
- Access to a private & secure workspace, free from distractions
- Accessible during the assigned work schedule for regular duties and responsibilities as outlined by the supervisor
- An internet connection with speeds of 5 Megabits down / 3 Megabits up (5mbps/3mbps)
Skills and Qualifications
- 5+ years of proven experience as a DBA, Data Developer, Data Analyst, ETL Developer
- Experience with multi-tenancy and SaaS platforms
- Background in data warehouse design & architecture
- Knowledge of T-SQL, Power Query, SSIS, AWS Glue, AWS Kinesis Firehose, S3, Database Monitoring Tools (Solarwinds DPA, Datadog)
- Proven abilities to take initiative and be innovative
- Analytical mind with a problem-solving aptitude
- Experience with ETL tools, data pipelines and frameworks
- Event driven orchestration tools
