Job Summary
As a Customer Service Representative at ASE, you will be integral in assisting automotive technicians and employers in utilizing ASE services. This role primarily involves phone and email support, with the potential for other communication methods as they emerge.
Key Responsibilities
- ASE Testing Assistance: Help clients with purchasing tests, scheduling or canceling appointments, and providing necessary information.
- Account Management: Aid with navigation on the myASE website, manage company accounts, and resolve login issues.
- Certification Support: Update candidate records, assist with certification status checks, and process work experience submissions.
- Handling Special Cases: Address troubleshooting, escalations, and special testing accommodations.
- Support for Additional ASE Programs: Provide guidance for the myASE Renewal App, xEV Safety Certification tests, Section 609 Refrigerant testing program, and ASE Practice Tests.
- Administrative Tasks: Process ADA accommodations and updates, merge duplicate records, handle recognition medallions and merchandise orders, distribute departmental emails and voicemails, and conduct weekly reviews of certificate files.
Qualifications
- High school diploma is required.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving skills, and proficiency in English (Spanish is an asset).
- Competent in typing and general computer use.
- Ability to multitask efficiently and work effectively in a team environment.
Work Hours and Benefits
Remote position, 37.5 hour work week, with working hours from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM Eastern Time (including lunch break).
Paid in-person training for 2-3 weeks at Leesburg HQ or remote training.
